About Eonnora Research and Development
Eonnora Research and Development is the clean energy research and development arm of the Singapore-based Eonnora Group. A joint R&D program has been established together with Windside - a pioneer in vertical-axis wind power technology - focused on micro and nano grid solutions — standalone and grid-connected — built around Windside’s wind power systems, battery storage, and integrated power electronics. As a part of this team, you will take products from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and preparation for manufacturing, supporting deployments in Singapore, India, and other international markets.
About the Role
You will own electrical planning and detailed electrical design for R&D prototypes and customer installations: single-line diagrams, wiring and panel design, electrical CAD packages, and regulatory compliance. You are the team's reference point for the rules and standards governing electrical appliances and installations.
- Prepare electrical planning for installations: load schedules, cable sizing, protection selection, earthing, and lightning protection
- Produce electrical CAD drawings — single-line diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, cable routing, and installation drawings
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and law (in Singapore: SS 638 and EMA licensing requirements; for India-bound projects: IS/IEC standards and CEA regulations)
- Prepare documentation for submissions, inspections, and licensed electrical worker sign-off
- Design and review control and instrumentation wiring for wind, battery, and inverter systems
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning on site
- Maintain drawing standards, templates, and revision control for the electrical library
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in electrical planning and production of electrical CAD drawings (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent)
- Sound knowledge of the rules, standards, and legal requirements applicable to electrical appliances and installations, and how to design for approval
- Experience with LV distribution design, protection coordination, and earthing systems
- Ability to produce complete, submission-ready drawing and documentation packages
Preferred Qualifications
- EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (or working toward it) or experience working under one; PE (Electrical) exposure is a plus
- Experience with renewable energy, battery storage, or EV charging installations
- Familiarity with both Singapore and Indian regulatory environments
